Experienced Restaurant and bar staff wanted part time 15 - 20 hours per week.

Assistant Manager wanted, full time to aid and support the Manager with the running of the bar and restaurant of the Royal Oak Pub and Kitchen.

The Royal Oak Pub & Kitchen is situated on the busy main road of Radcliffe-on-Trent amidst boutique shops and thriving businesses. Higgledy piggledy furniture sits on wooden floors or quarry tiles with colourful rugs. An open fire and chunky radiators sit against a backdrop of country cream and warm red walls with comfortable seating and plenty of nooks and crannies. Goings-on in the kitchen can be seen through the open counter, sometimes piled high with freshly baked bread.

The Royal Oak can be hired for exclusive use for weddings, parties, wakes with award winning buffets available for any occasion.

The Royal Oak is one of four establishments owned by The Moleface Pub Co. The others being: The Wollaton Pub & Kitchen, The Lord Nelson Pub & Kitchen and The Larwood & Voce Pub & Kitchen.

The Restaurant

{{mainsite}} traditional foodComfortably seating fifty in one section of the open-plan pub, the restaurant will invite you to relax, enjoy and feel at home. Busy with locals enjoying their lunch hour in the week, the restaurant is transformed at evenings and weekends into a  of diners enjoying good company and fine food. Whenever you choose to visit you will be looked after by the ever-enthusiastic front-of-house brigade backed up by a team of chefs with one thing in mind - your culinary delight. So from a sit down slap-up Sunday lunch to take-away fish and chips - The Royal Oak has it covered.

With a consistent approach to quality and customer service our restaurant has proved a firm favourite for special occasions such as St Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

The carefully researched list will delight - a large proportion of which are available by the glass.

The Royal Oak occasionally hosts live music on a Friday or Saturday night and charity quizzes on a Sunday evening.

Children of all ages are very welcome in the restaurant however we do ask that they are supervised at all times and remain at your table whenever possible. Baby changing facilities are provided.

The Bar

Lose yourself in the chatter of the Saturday afternoon crowd (and enjoy brunch while you're at it) or laze away an evening under the beamed ceilings of the open-plan bar with a pint of Proper Moleface Ale in one hand and a hearty sandwich in the other. The large bar area is great for meeting friends and lounging amidst comfortable seating, gilt mirrors and expansive bay windows.

Alongside a selection of draught, lagers, bitters and cider, bottled beers, cocktails and a wide range of spirits and liqueurs, sit local and National hand-pulled ales. The bar area is large enough for crowds watching Sky Sports and intimate enough for new parents enjoying a get-together for our regular Baby Cakes morning. There is plentiful outside seating on raised decking for those lazy summer evenings.

The Royal Oak Brigade

Headed by General Manager, Vicki Litchfield, both front-of-house and kitchen are dedicated to their tasks, with head chef Nigel Eaton consistently delivering the highest standards of cuisine. The Royal Oak was runner up in the 'Best Newcomer' category of The National Pub Awards in 2011.

About the Area

As the name suggests Radcliffe-on-Trent is adjacent to the river with some good rambling to be had along Cliff Walk. The village supports well known Golf, Football and Cricket clubs along with a lively amateur dramatics group. Radcliffe is well connected to Nottingham and has its own railway station.
